you can shove someone off the top of a 2-storey building and as long as they run across town to the hospital fast enough, you can meet them again a few minutes later and it'll be almost as if nothing had happened, they might still have a small bruise or whatever but that's all. how about we make it so that chars can get broken arms and stuff that need to be put into casts and things so that when YOUR char gets to feel the invigorating rush of plummeting to their death, people will actually notice there's something wrong with you as you come limping into the Drome on crutches with a cast on both arms and the traditional bandage round the head.
and maybe the ht command could be used to check when your casts and stuff can come off.
it would sort of add another factor to fighting and mugging people, for example if you try to mug someone and get the shit kicked out of you then you wouldn't be able to hide your shame by just getting a doc to inject you with his magical healing fluid. You might get a broken arm or something and it would stick out like a sticky stick for a few days after the actual healing.
and another thing! as it is you can get mortally wounded and crawl away into a cube or coffin or something and sleep it off, and a few days later you'll be in excellent condition, having had no medical help whatsoever. I would assume if you're mortally wounded then your body's pretty damn trashed. If you did this in the arm-breakage etc system then maybe the bones would have a chance of healing the wrong way or something and having to get it broken again.
