... bartenders with a memory

Its not documented, but a month or two back, the food/drink serving NPCs (Rychek, Metal-Mouth Sally, etc) were made smart enough to remember the last drink you purchased from them. That let them respond to requests 'for another' and so on.

We'll, tonight, thanks to Kevlar's thinking and my coding, they now will remember what you last asked for. This means that you can order a 'sandwich' and Sally can tell you that she 'can get you a cajun, an original or a BBQ' and you can then tell her 'cajun' and she'll know to get you a cajun sandwich.

Kev noticed that you guys already order like this and then are forced to learn it the hard way, so it was a good idea to support the manner in which you were already ordering.

Additionally, bartenders can tell you what is on the menu and how well business is doing. Just ask.

I know it's far from essential, but would you be able to make bartenders recognise the phrase "Same again" for ordering what you ordered last, too?

But "the usual" should not just give you the last drink you ordered.  If I always order scotch, but one day I get a vodka, then I say, usual, I should get a scotch, not a vodka.

I'm not going to store a matrix of the drinks you've ordered and give you the one you order the most. Everything we do lives in memory and affects everyones game play, this would be a large array of data, especially for a place as busy as the Drome. You'll have to keep track of it yourself and only use 'the usual' when you want the last thing you ordered.

Why not just have people set their 'usual' in their @profile, and have the bartenders read from that?
