OOC : Being updated by JINX

There are four main grades of armor available to Withmore citizens. A fifth grade of armor, produced by Withmore Armament Incorporated (WAI) was reserved solely for members of the Withmore Justice Force (WJF) but has been replaced since early 2097 by a ZMI variant designed with the assistance of key WJF personnel.

These grades are divided by weight, thickness and stopping power.

  • WAI CR-X jumpsuit
  • WAI PR-X jumpsuit

[edit] Combat Protection

Moving into riskier operations, combat grade armor ranges from biohazard suits that seal the user from external threats to the spec ops armors. These specially made armors are purpose built to be used as a set. Usually with a bodysuit for comfort and environmental protection under a layer of modular semi-rigid and rigid protection. While highly effective, these armors do restrict the user’s movement a bit.

[edit] Xo3

A set of armor made to be worn over an armored jumpsuit or bodysuit. It is a set of hard plates that gives added protection to the vital parts of the body without restricting movement like Xo5.

  • Xo3 Battle Helmet
  • Xo3 Codpiece
  • Xo3 Thorax Plates
  • Xo3 Shoulder Pads
  • Xo3 Bracers
  • Xo3 Knee Pads

Additionally short boots and gloves should be added for enviro-seal.

[edit] WAI Bodysuits

[edit] Extreme Protection

When you go into high-risk operations these are the armor you want, usually black ops fall in this category. These are strictly bodysuit + plating sets that can be mismatched but usually sold as a pack. Some extreme protection armor can increase the user’s attributes by use of exoskeletons or other cybernetic-like mechanics. These include Xo5, GARB armor and WJF Phallanx armor.

[edit] Xo5

Developed by Zircon Matsua Industries (ZMI), Xo5 body armor has high stopping power against all bladed weapons, blunt weapons, and small arms fire.

[edit] Other Information

The Ambrosia Corporation, a subsidiary of ViriiSoma, is currently developing a bio-armor. They were in talks with ZMI and WAI though negotiations have hit a wall since the head of the Ambrosia Corporation, Vali Rodric vanished in mid 2094.

Additional armor, including flak jackets, may be issued to corporate security forces for the duration of their employment.

The Tactical Emergency Response and Resistance Agency (TERRA) uniforms are not armored.
