I don't know if this is a leak or the bug linked back to old connections.
Basically, a few things happened.
The ability to clear devices, whether they were cameras, etc or wiring hubs or monitors, etc was introduced. Which was great. Amazing.
Then we had the overhaul and rework to security networks.
And it was realized if cleared an object rather than unscan it from its source, it was leaving a ghost feed in monitors, etc. This was brought up at the time and the coder who was working on it said they had fixed it but also gave a response that the old ones should've been done by unscanning anyways so it was basically a SOL situation for say people who took down cameras and other items and cleared them to reset, because whichever original wiring hub/monitor it was linked to would just become something they couldn't clear out in a natural and expected way.
I don't know if that's what you tried to fix/the bug was referring to, but that may be the source back to everything if that's still occurring. There's an IC way to fix it if you end up with a ghost feed, which is a little bit of a workaround, but in case this is the issue you tried to fix this is where it all stems from originally.

A simple watch, synth black leather straps with a brass face and black hands. An LCD window holds the time and appears to glow in the dark.
The time on your watch reads 08:58:05.

You adjust the fit of your digital watch, glancing at the time.
I do have one question though; if you do have membership and are renting another space that your membership does not apply to, does the automated income relief still apply? For example, with a member renting out an office space that is not their membership pad.
Example: In case someone wishes to load a week on their place, go run another rent's worth of crates put that towards a second week, is the second payment then counted toward further expansion of the weekly cap?
However a paid membership does not have such an ability.
The fix that would come to mind would be only allowing rental returns on units under a certain cost per week (for example ~8000c, after waiver).
We have the earnings cap in place so that someone doesn't grind out 100k worth of automated jobs and then dump all that money into the economy, throwing everything out of wack. If they grind 100k worth of automated jobs and then pay their rent with it, that isn't an issue in my opinion (at least at this time).
If we ever allowed players to rent places that were owned by other players, then this could cause a problem, but as it stands, I don't see an issue. If we detect one, or anyone thinks of a way to exploit this, then I'll revisit it.
