Spread the Word
Get more peeps on SD

So, I have done my best over the years to spread the word via the net and friends (though I have been less successful via friends then via the net).

I've done Search Engine Optimization on the main site, and you'll see we rank very high (something like 6 on Google) for 'cyberpunk rpg'.

Johnny has a google adwords campaign running, and I also have one that I put money in when I have extra.

I have also put some money into ads on mudconnect.com from time to time.

I have an ad up on all pages of MudVerse.com for the past three or so years.

There are various other sites I've put stuff on, but today I went through the top 20 or so Google results for 'Cyberpunk RPG' and did my best to get our name on the sites if it wasn't there already (which, in some cases it was).

If they had a forum, blog, or contact form, I let them know about Sindome. Below is a copy of what I did:

E-mailed blogger - kuoi.com/~kamikaze/Cyberpunk/RPG.php

If you want to spread the word, then by all means, Google a popular cyberpunk term (Ex. 'cyberpunk' , 'cyberpunk game' 'cyberpunk roleplaying' 'neuromancer game' or some such thing) and submit Sindome in whatever way you can!

This will help out our SEO, but also drive traffic to the site and hopefully to the game itself.

If you have any suggestions on how we can better spread the word or advertise, both monetarily and non, post it here.

If you need a banner for a site, you can use this one: http://www.mudverse.com/listings/1237427959banner_468x60_1.gif

Hot link it if you want, I ain't give ah fuck all.
LOVE YOU!

Anyone interested in helping out?

I've been bragging around about it, but it is hard to find M* players period, none-the-less ones who aren't already cozy in a specific community.

I guess I should of included that I am happy to help any way I can, ask around, Sabaoine is on all the time and trying to help out newbies. If it be scripting, bug reporting, or any monkey work you need done, let me know.

I agree, it's definitely hard, but we can all do our part.  The best way to do it is to mention the site or the game to friends, family, co-workers, get them started, and help them out in the learning process.

And ... you could totally track down some dead people and poke them with facebook sticks till they submit in a hrumph of bleary eyedness before they dig out some dusty, moldy, sewage covered password from the depths of their squishy flesh bucket skulls and gingerly click on the log-in button.

I suppose SEO might be a wee bit snazzier and slightly more businessy. But whatever works.

'Bout time.

Edit: Also, omg, Feegles.

Ach, they'll overrun the place, bring a cheap lawyer and build a 'shoot outa some plebs undies!
