San Mara is a small trading town in the Badlands, far to the southeast of Withmore City. Its stable population numbers only a few hundred, while its transient population can reach a thousand.
Nestled among the high dunes to the south, the rugged, lawless settlement is the nearest human habitation within traveling distance of Withmore. It serves as a regional outpost and a nexus of illicit smuggler trade.
