Help for 'drop'

Syntax: drop
         throw to
         catch

Drop will remove an object you are carrying from your inventory and put it in the current room. This is a visible action that your character is taking. You can drop something you aren't holding, but this may cause you to unwield something that is in one of your hands.

Throw requires that you be holding the object prior to attempting ot throw it. You can throw an object through an exit into another room (as long as the exit is open) or you can throw an object at a person. They can attempt to catch the object that was thrown using the 'catch ' command. If they fail to catch it, or do not make the attempt, it will bounce off of them. In some cases this will cause a small amount of damage.

Catch will have your character attempt to catch an item that has been thrown. It doesn't matter if the object was thrown directly at your character, or another. You can make the attempt either way, though it may be harder to succeed. Stats and skills are involved.
