During a marketing campaign in the mid-2080s to grant access to the less privileged masses to NLM's new grid several toughened terminals were made and distributed around the city. Different from the portable yet powerful QuickTerms and LiteTerms these StreetTerms provide wired access to the grid and were though to be immovable and damage-proof. But since their deployment there have been cases of terminals being damaged beyond repair and even reported cases of some of them gone missing.
