Withmore Armament Incorporated

Withmore Armament Incorporated (WAI) is a local corporation specializing in the design and manufacture of corporate weapons, armor, and related technology. Its products range from service pistols and armored clothing to vehicle-mounted weapons. Although based in Withmore City, WAI is not headquartered in central Gold Sector.

History

WAI was formerly a major supplier of equipment and materiel to the Withmore Justice Force. Its Attack Armor equipped Street Judges before Zircon Matsua Industries took over the major contract in 2097. The transition introduced ZMI's Tactical Armor.

WAI's manufacturing interests extend beyond its former Justice Force contract, encompassing personal defense, corporate security equipment, protective clothing, and heavier armaments.

Weapons and Ammunition

WAI produces conventional firearms alongside more specialized weapons. Its range includes:

• SSP-9 Standard Service Pistol: A full-sized handgun with a polymer frame and ambidextrous magazine releases.
• HGB-6 Urban Assault Pistol: A compact semi-automatic pistol constructed from carbon composite and lightweight metal alloys.
• SMG-6 Personal Defense Sub-gun: A compact bullpup weapon with a polymer shell.
• 900LR Carbine: A 9mm bullpup carbine favored by corporate security personnel and competitive target shooters.
• ARC-6 Urban Assault Carbine: A compact semi-automatic carbine with composite construction and a skeletonized stock.
• 984R Tactical Shotgun: A pump-action, 12-gauge combat shotgun.
• PEM-8 Gauss Flechette Pistol: A battery-powered pistol employing powerful magnetic fields.

The company also produces heavier equipment, including the XM-777 minigun and Burninator flamethrower. Its vehicle armaments include the VMQ-12 Close Defense Shotgun, VMAQ-12 Close Defense remote weapon system, and RPG-66 unguided anti-armor rocket launcher.

WAI also produces shotgun ammunition, including 12-gauge slug shells and 20-gauge shells loaded with lead pellets.

Armor and Protective Clothing

WAI's protective products include both armored clothing and purpose-built combat equipment.

ProTek Proline is its armored clothing range, encompassing flak jackets, trench coats, nanoweave shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses, alongside boots, gloves, helmets, and other accessories. The range uses materials such as nanoweave, nanomesh, and Kevlar to incorporate protection into wearable garments.

WAI also manufactures three branded protective jumpsuits: the CR-X, labeled Cut Resistant-Hex; PR-X, labeled Puncture Resistant-Hex; and IR-X, labeled Impact Resistant-Hex. These utilitarian garments use hexagon-patterned fabric with reinforced joints.

Additional products include the ZR-X vest, combining Kevlar, nanomesh, and armored plates, and D-Fence bodysuits and boots, constructed from military-grade graphene compound nanoweave.

Grappling and Field Equipment

WAI manufactures grappling hooks ranging from a basic nylon-rope model to the Grab-All ceramic-wire model and SpringFire spring-loaded, auto-coiling model.

Its supporting equipment includes shotgun-shell bandoliers and padded ballistic-nylon carrying bags for rifles and shotguns.
