Banishment

Banishment is one of the highest criminal penalties that can be cast upon a citizen of Withmore City according to the Withmore Code of Militant Justice. Upon being sentenced for banishment, it is common that the criminal is first issued a clone death as some resist arrest knowing the sentence. When the criminal emerges from Genetek's vat, he is arrested and taken into custody of the Withmore Hall of Justice.

The sentence consists of stripping the criminal of every carried items, revoking each and every one of theirs civil rights, giving them a tattoo indicating their status and finally giving them a cloak and a canteen of water. The criminal is then escorted through the city's main gates to the badlands and sentenced to never return to the city again.
