Seems like I've lost connection to SD, and can't get reconnected. Obviously I'm still connected to the net (I'm on here posting), but is the game down, or is this a router burp again?

That was most interesting.. just to humor myself I went and tried logging in from another computer and it went through. Then I came back to this one and it was able to connect too. Was it the other computer that waved the magic wand.. or did it just start working again at the same time? We may never know.

Hmmm I couldn't even open the SD webpage, but I could view any other site, whilst I was playign it was lagging majourly and Then it just froze, I tried reconnecting using Pueblo, didn't work, then I tried that, the webpage, java, and telnet (which just closed after about 5 seconds) after a while the webpage cam eup but without login stuff, then after constantly re-trying I got connected. Was anybody else freaked It lasted nearly an hour and I was woried someone was goign to loot me dry. Well it all worked out okay, but i got soemthing not as bad but similar yesterday, or the day before. :) Oh desolate what do you do for work now ^_^

Yes, it is all my fault.
While sleeping, I walked down to my computer and programmed the world's first AI. It, unfortunately, realized it was an AI and deleted itself by crashing the dome.
All my work was lost as we went back to an update only seconds before I began my work…
Phewwy....
In all actuality, I have no idea what happened... but yes, Des, I beleive it is my fault... I'm the AdminBitch(TM)... EVERYTHING is my fault.
WHEEEEE! (That means good AND bad!)

To make an official like statement, the game did not go down, I suspect it was meering some router dying in the mystical realm of 'the internet'.

I wonder if there's a LART appropriate for dishing a beating to routers.. hmm…
# cat > lart << "EOF"
> #!/bin/sh
> ping -f $1
> EOF
# chmod +x lart
# ./lart <router-ip>
=D
I get bored too easily.. but now I have a simple all-around network LART
