Ok…I was messing around with my @messages and I think I set my @lingo me is mixmash and now it is stuck or I can't remember how to change it back.
I type @lingo me is English and the message changes but each time I say something I speak in mixmash.
People keep eyeing me cautiously.

How does one listen in another language?

You'll automagically understand all languages your character speaks, tho if your understanding of the language isn't 100% what you hear may be somewhat distorted.
Otherwise, you'll just hear jabbering garbage.

Is there a way to check what language our character know and their fluency? I remember spending the points during the character creation process and I double checked my logs to make sure. But when roleplaying the other night with another character who spoke the same language neither of our characters could understand each other.
