Characters in room descriptions...

This is a half-idea, half-minor-complaint:

A number of locations have somewhat explicit descriptions of people within the room description but do not have a corresponding NPC to interact with. It's mostly secretaries that I've noticed. I think it would improve the atmosphere of some inside locations and give them more credibility if these chars. existed as objects.

The same sort of issue with objects/descriptions can be said for some of the automated security systems. Sometimes a security system is not included in the room descrip., then suddenly appears when trying to cross a certain threashhold. In the case where it was intentionally invisible, it would be good to have some kind of message along the lines of, "Two previously hidden 'cannons'/etc. emerge nearly instantaneously from the ceiling and swivel aggresively towards you, tracking your movements" or obviously if they weren't hidden, then maybe displayed prominently like other objects (color wise).

Just seems like there could be some polishing/refining on  this point.

Chatterbots!  We need more chatterbots!

There has to be some free chatterbot code that can be utilized here.  I would love to see more chatty NPCs.

Wouldnt moo bloat come into affect here? I mean there is an ambient population of 65 million so fi we were to have even a small fraction of that running around talkign wouldnt the moo bloat be bad? I dunno just thought that might be an answer.
