Platinum Skillsoft load times
Takes way too long

In my opinion platinum skillsofts take way too long to load. For the price you pay, or their value if you didn't pay, and the risk associated with walking around with one slotted, the wait times for them to load are just kind of wild to me.

I understand people dislike skillsofts and will say that you should hire a player character that has the associated skills, but not every scenario makes for that to be the answer. I hate that these are not instant gratification shards, but I accept that these have a load time. I just think it is way too long for what it is.

I am of the opinion that the RP you create by obtaining and using a skillsoft does not somehow negate another players experience or value. It actually creates RP and offers an alternative to someone or solves a problem to where using those players is just not an option. The risk involved is already high with platinum softs too. They will likely be the single most expsenive item on you. Making them take longer to load is not going to make that risk anymore meaningful.
