I was just thinking, you know how security cameras work, and the TV transmissions from Gerik's show and from back during the NLM 30 days thing?

I was thinking it'd be neat if the NLM guys had TV cameras (with other players playing cameraman, of course), so they could conduct live reports every so often. Like irritating man-on-the-street interviews and whatnot. And it could be transmitted on TV as a news show…you know, NLM NEWS FLASH!

The camera used during 30 days needs no mods, because were not about to PAY someone to hold a fucking camera when the computer in the camera can do a much better job on its own.

about camera's but not moving picture camera's…

(i didn't think it was appropriate to start a new thread since it's sort of the same theme...)

the funcam's are amusing... but i was thinking that it would be even MORE amusing to have the equivalent of real SLR cameras, with refillable  memory that you can delete images off of, transfer out of or lock, as well as interchangable lenses... :)

am i right to assume that the code for a scope is out?
would a telephoto lens work the same as a scope?
(i know nothing about code so uh.. yeah... just wondering.)

you could have telephoto lenses available.... normal and maybe even macro lenses for close up work (don't really know how workable that last one is in the game...)

but the telephoto would work for say... surveillance work or spying on the neighbors who never close their blinds, taking a picture of the fight happening down in the street from a roof top or on another rooftop... something like that...

you couldn't use a telephoto for someone in the same room with you or a normal lens to zoom in on something far away... making it realistic... more or less.

*grin*

just sitting here staring at my camera and thinking about that.

but if there is such a thing in the game already... feel free to beat me.

Hey Johnny I know what your sayin, not gonna pay someone to do that, but i do t hink there should be Reporters that are characters doing live reports when a judge gets shot, or at Trials for Rogue judges…It'd be cool

But then you could get like Reporters bodygaurds to film them, it would add IC and create more RP...

Think Dom is taping Rigby...some anti clone person doesn't like rigby's story on genetek, runs across the crowd, Dom drops the camara and kicks his...all on live tele

Could you make it like a photograph, so it would be possible to Look At things On a security Monitor? And possibly able to Watch people on Monitor's?

I'd like to see items that are really spy camera's that record and save themselves, so that you can view later when good for you.

Like say you make a snowglobe or something and give it to someone as a gift(or sell it to them/plant it in their apartment/whatever) the items describes itself as a snowglobe, but it is really a camera! See, that way they will act naturally infront of it.
