Combat knives

I think Combat knives such as the ones army commandos and such use would be cool. Stronger, deadlier then the flimsy stillettos and butterfly knives, they'd make the short blade skill more usefull to players who are ex-military/CorpSEC ect.

As a fact we have more weapons than are used in the game. Some short blades are even game versus some long blades. Players just tend to use firearms and long blades instead of short blades. But that doesn't mean that they suck.

But if you really want a new 'knife' in game, feel free to describe it and email us and we'll try to make it happen.

Well, theres alot of useless weapons in game I think.  I've been playing for two years and I've never seen someone use 'an axe handle' in combat, or 'a pipe'.

I'd like to make it that in certain places, you can get weapons like an axe handle and a pipe with little effort and no cost. Places like the park, heaven and certain places in the mix would make getting these items trivial and temporarily (so as not to get everyone keeping such things around in their apartments. :spank:). I mean, its the mix, grabbing something to defend yourself should be reasonably easy and that was one of the goals behind making everything a potential weapon.

Ah, do you mean something like a 'scavenge' verb?  It would look kinda like search and you'd pop up with something like an axe handle or a lead pipe?  

I think that would be a sweet idea.  Make it so that if you dropped it, it would disappear after like five minutes.  Though not right away because it could be disarmed and such.

I think that has to do with everyone being bloodthirsty. Dead men tell no tales, after all.

Baseball bats, steel pipes, batons, flashlights, axe handles, and wrecking bars are pretty nifty though.
