The notification separator for forum posts is the same as the separator used for received ccoms, this makes it more annoying to find ccoms. Using '->' or some other combination would have the same visual effect without the downsides.
Additionally, the constant stream of notifications during periods of high grid activity is extremely annoying and distracting. Being able to disable notifications, whether just for a single forum topic or entirely, would make it far more bearable to use during these times and less overstimulating.
