Over time in the Dome people would get accustomed to the many ads that corporations use to display their products. Over time they would overlook them and begin to become unaware of them, especially when they've seen the same ad for as long as they do. (i suppose realistically though, ads are always being recycled and redone, usually with the same layouts) Some are hard to ignore, like holograms, but others such as ad-blimps and video walls would be easier.
