I've a way to cut down on alot of the admin stress. Make Judges follow a longer list of simple orders, rather than merely 'follow me'.
Instances would be 'Enter cruiser, Hold your fire, guard west-north-east-south, attack name…etc'
Then the admin could worry about other things, such as controlling that ganger, or player for that matter, who just so happens to be fighting said judges. No doubt its a difficult task making six people fight simultaneously so as not to seem unfair. This could also be imped for gangers if you happen to hold some sway in your gang...otherwise they'd just laugh at you, but still. I think its a good idea, anyone disagree?

Implementing this would mean you'd have a PC as a team leader, able to give commands and stuff like in special ops and army and stuff…well, how I see it in games and movies.
Not going to lie, I'm thinking rainbox six right now.
I'm assuming something similar could be implemented for gangs too.
Now, hang on, doesn't giving PC judges / gang leaders this squad leader ability mean they will have the ability to do a lot of stuff they otherwise wouldn't be able to without GMs on?
Yeah, but I'd personally like to see a judge with twenty black marks on his resume for getting his team C-KIA, or a gang leader lose respect.

I think I 've seen this already for some gangers… It would make sense if they have it we should too...
I mean the WJF is a legal gang with the authority of the Corporate Council...

Gangs as well as Judges have the basic set of instructions that they can be told if you are the 'Boss'. IE: A gang leader, judge, whatever.
I completely agree they need a longer list of commands. Enter (vehical) being the first one.
It's crazy having to eject or force your own NPCs into a vehical. What other commands would be worthwhile? And I mean generic, not just for Judges, but for all controlable NPCs?

Kill 'name'
Exit
Hold 'item'
Get 'item'
Drop 'item'
That's just a few things off the top of my head…I'm sure there's many, many more that would benefit both sides but, I'm sure others have ideas.

1.) Guard/Cover (me/person)
2.) run the f*ck away b*itch
3.) I think "attack" would be better than "kill" dam…
3.) tail/shadow (person)?
3.) *in booming mortal kombat voice* FINISH HIM!

If I've not mistaken I believe many of these commands are allready there…
"Follow me"
"Attack so and ao"
"Shadow me" etc etc. I've used them all on the NPC Judges/Gangers I've controlled

"stop attacking"
"stop following"
"guard <anything>"
"stop guarding"
"attack <anything>"
"follow <anything>"
"hide"
"unhide"
"reveal yourself"
"give <anything> to <anything>"
"<anything> dismissed<anything>" or "<anything>go home<anything>" or "<anything>back to base<anything>"
Those are the commands we currently have. They can be used in conjunction with each other.
IE:
to npc: hide
to npc: follow me
Will make the puppet shadow.
We def need an 'exit' command.

Hmm, just off the top of my head, I was thinking that you ought to be able to toggle there @fatals too, being as maybe you need to try to take someone alive, that way your backup doesn't just blast em to bits, but I'm not sure how it all works anyway, hah.

That would be kill/attack…. I think they should be set to non-fatal at all times unless told to kill... unless someone is @hated *shrugs*

I've found a system currently on the MOO that lets me add commands easily. The problem is it's not the same system we use for commanding NPCs, but, it's easy.
Judges now have the following commands:
'enter cruiser'
'uncontrol'
And all NPCs now have:
'exit'
These commands take longer to execute then the normal ones, so give it a moment.

A useful set would be get and drop or lower.
Addable for all assistant type NPC's
Not having to address them specifically would be nice too, though I'm not sure if that's doable.
You say, "Judges, follow me."
Judge Hairy follows you.
Judge Nut follows you.
Judge Sack follows you.
You say, "Judges, cease fire."
Everyone backs off.
You say, "Judges, enter cruiser."
etc…you get the picture heh

Would it be possible if all of this could be done via transmitting via helmet radios?
Its a lil' silly but…anything to add something to the airwaves.

That would be neat, but every judge in moo would attempt to do that very action at the same time…I dunno if that'd be a good thing.

It might be possible if you addressed the Judge directly on the radio..
Like: Judge Bob GoatNinja, cease fire.
Also, I'd love to be able to tell controlled NPCs to 'Go'
You to Judge: Go up.
And they would try to go up. That way you could send them to different places as a commander almost, instead of having to lead them. Because if you're the commander of your NPCs, and your sending them into combat, you have to go in first and then when they arrive give them commands, while your getting attacked, its kinda tough.

Definitely difficult…but maybe the radio thing could just be their names, rather than "Judge Chiara Isaac, go east." Just
"Isaac, go east." That'd rule, what ya think bout the 'gets and drops'?

Adding to this WJF section, a detailed form and file system to store notes and crime reports somehwere would be cool. The Tac-comp system at the moment is lacking in alot of areas. Not to the point where you cannot work with it, but it's just something to consider.
