More Martial Arts Weapons
just give me some sai or some shit at least

Currently, martial artists have two weapons. One of them doesn't do very much damage and takes a very long time to have any real effect on your opponent, and the other is very powerful, but costs a lot of money and has an extremely high PDS load. I think there's a severe need for more "middle ground" martial arts weapons, as currently the only way martial arts is any kind of viable outside of a controlled environment is if you're the tankiest motherfucker on the planet.
I think we actually have four. Bo, Wire, Pool que, and a spear.
I definitely could get behind this.
Martial arts is an unarmed fighting skill that has similar stat needs to weapon skills, unlike brawling. It shouldn't have more weapon choices, especially not stabbing ones, because it would then be more useful than an actual weapon skill. Sais also already exist in-game.

meanwhile its currently pretty much useless outside of show fights unless you have the very expensive chrome for it
I have seen it effectively used outside of shows and without the chrome many times, both armed and unarmed.
Urumi
Meteor Hammer & Rope Dart
Fighting Fans
Emei Piercers
Chinese hook swords

The list goes on.

Hear me out; Flying Guillotine.
This skill purposefully has fewer options because it is an unarmed fighting skill, meaning you come out of the vats and you can defend yourself or if someone has robbed you or you're broke etc. Adding more runs counter to the purpose of having the skill and moves it more towards being a full weapon skill except with the benefit of it working even when you don't have that weapon.

We've purposefully kept brawling and martial arts weapons to a minimum. The benefits of having these skills are that they work when you don't have an actual weapon, giving you an advantage over those who have not invested in the skill and have focused purely on weapons-based fighting skills.
