2nd I get interogated by a vioce via hidden speaker...being that one of my kajillion past chars was Judge More, i knew about the room down the hall where judges watch the perps squirm via camera and talk to them via microphone

3rd I started thinkin... First off why a TV in the interrogation tomb? I mean you dont want the perps to have entertainment 'fore they die do ya? So I thought maybe they should be removed...

3B. Then I thought why not use the TV...have the judge talk to the perp ....-through- the TV...

Now I know someone is gonna say well that defeats the puprose of the judge not being in there...so the dont be seen.  well maybe you could just have the line that scolls across when a judge add comes on :::=>

[A stoney faced Judge glares at the camera in extreme close-up.]      

come up and instead of the "Obey the law" line that normally preceeds it have the interogaters message.

Another interesting spin this could take is if/when the perp is ''judged'' there (assuming the TV idea was in place) have a message like:

[A stoney faced Judge glares at the camera in extreme close-up.]:- You Have been whieghed…

pause 5 seconds

[A stoney faced Judge glares at the camera in extreme close-up.]:- You have been measured…

pause 5 seconds

[A stoney faced Judge glares at the camera in extreme close-up.]:- And you have been found wanting.

||A siren sounds throughout the room as holes in the wall open up giving way to barrels of guns||

[The camera zooms out as the face of a demented judge bends back in horrific laughter and the message "You Have Been JUDGED!" Sounds from behind the monitor]

||The guns rip into action tearing Perpy down.||

That to me would make the whole interogating process a little more CPish.
If we could do it with scripts I would be glad to try.

And the interrogation room is for just that, interrogation. Not execution. You see any blood on the walls? Bullet holes? No. Its pretty damn sterile.

And generally, Judgements on the street are caused because the perp just doesn't wanna go down without a fight.

Maybe I'm the exception to the rule, but the only time I have been judged and sentanced to clone death, it was in the express tube between red and gold where the sentance was actually carried out.

The Judge in question seemed to be hurried.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the judge knew they were in the wrong and just wanted to get their, how did Johnny put it, gun off?

ok...now then...maybe add a localized script to that TV that would produce some sort of scary-cyber-CPish avatar of the Judge interogating the perp...... OK?

back to the TV's maybe since it's in thiere write a few TV specific commercials to the it showing other perps getting judge in a horrible horrible manner....and then show one that has a person dressed up as the perp in the TV getting judged.....you know scare the absolute liver out of the perp.....It was just an idea and it turned into Allandra and Max bitchin bout killin eachother...oh well...maybe this will clear things up and get me some feedback about the idea...Allandra and I had some discussion about the TV in there...she pointed out that it was the age of ads everywhere.....and that was why the TV was there in the first place...that made sense,,,i'm simply sayin..if it's there...why not let the WJF use it to terrorize the perp into ccmmiting something he didn't do?? see?

getting interogated is quite enjoyable. and the intereogation chamber? well, when i was in it, i didn't notice the tv to be frank (doesn't ring a bell at -all-) i ended up speaking and looking and acting to the camera in the corner of the room. that's where my attention went. but tool has a point. doesn't make sense to have a tv in there simply for reruns of survivor :P

maybe.. you could have stills of the people  that have something to do with the particualr interogation, or fake news feeds piped in? fake newsfeeds to confuse the poor shmo in the interogation chamber as to what's -really- going on out there with his former criminal mates. (i guess this would only be for big time crimes/perps though...)

some sort of psycological mind twisting usage should come out of the tv though.

i know! have it showing past executions! that would probably scare the living HELL out of most people in that room. watching bloody executions over and over again for hours on end without any sign of why your in the chamber or when someone will come to talk to you. mind fuck no? make it better? know who the perp is/had been friends with, and if they've been judged in the past, show THAT execution a few times more then others... show permings as well... the media isn't used enough for it's mind altering possibilities.

speaking of media propaganda. i had an eye opening experiance this past weekend, as far as i know, it seems like i wittnessed the news being staged.

true, it was a restaging of a moment that -had- happened, it was a very quick moment as well... true it was for a local newspaper that could hardly be classified -as- a newspaper... more of a sensational tabloid really... but.. still. it's made me pause.

it seems that during the anti-war protests here, there was US flag burning. i was there photographing the days events. i missed the flag burning though. i wasn't close enough to get a shot in. and one of the 'sun' (the afformentioned tabloid) photographers missed his shot as well.. he needs that shot though, unlike me. and what it looks like as of now... is that this photographer decided to burn his own flag and shoot -that- shot... details are murky. the only reason i know this is because a classmate saw the original moment happen a lot clearer then i did. the details in what happened and the shot that was published.. well.. the shot that was published could never have happened the way it was shown. it came down to a matter of crowds, the real moment, there was protesters everywhere almost a crush of bodies, the flag was crumpled up and set alight. the shot in the newspaper? it's supposed to be a perfectly layed out flag captured just as the flames start to consume it, no one around other then a crowd in the distance....

it only looks staged if you where there and realised what the moment had REALLY looked like.

i knew shit like that happens every day... but, as that saying goes.. there's a difference between knowing..and seeing.

but who knows.. maybe it really happened. it was a crazy and intense day... things could have been missed...  yet i doubt it.

whoa.. sorry to rant so far off topic! i'm currently writing about the line between media as witness to and media as catalyst for events. and.. uhm.. papers+drink+teenee amount of sleep = off topic rants
