Can this be expanded upon? First of all, there are currently places (or rather, at least one) with a stage that doesn't engage ambient crowd response (The Drome).

Second, it's been discussed among some artist types that it'd be great to expand that to places/areas other than clubs/bars. A music festival on knife, for example. Maybe someone busking on the the street for tips. Things like that.

No. What you're talking about is crowd reaction system, not performance. Performance already works everywhere. We're not adding crowd reaction messages everywhere.
