Translator computers you can speak into, and set for various languages!
Or, as a more economical (and humorous) version, phrasebooks! X flips furiously through an X->English phrasebook, and loudly recites.. ".."

I like that idea. I had it myself. Maybe the translator could have a penalty for using it.. like since you wouldn't actuly be learning the language.. Where as the phrase book would be the oposite.

Well while we're at it, what about skill-softs?
You haggle over the price of the Conversational Japanese BioChip with the hairy old woman, "12000, and no less!"

You'll be chipped for it long before we release any form of device to do it.

Chips that work similar to e-note/e-memory, make notes in your head and then recall them.

That would be cool too, expand your -memory- heh, make you smarter, make you know stuff you didn't prevously…you could have seperate ones for every skill...and the more expensive chip you get the more you can slot at once...
:shouts "I WANT CYBERWARE, AND LOTS OF IT"

Settle down, Beavis!
Remember there's no point in having skill-softs when there's no implementation for the skill (errrr, language in this case).
Baby steps.
