Grid forum issues

Is anyone else seeing incorrect password when accessing the grid site’s forums? I can’t even edit my profile over there.

Usernames and passwords aren't case-sensitive for the node system, but they are for the Forums and Gridmail.

If you hop into the forum, you logout and log back in via the aging board system. You might have the wrong password saved or autopopulating as well.

I entered the right password but Ikonboard just doesn’t seem to like it.

I figured it out. An extra character was in my password despite the grid letting me in regardless. Kinda weird.

Old school unix password hashing only considered the first 8 characters significant. It's a known issue. I think that's what you saw.
