  Just finished watching this years competition on G4. Anyone else catch it? Saw some pretty sick moves and a couple nasty falls. I think the course could've been a little more extensive, but all in all a good show.

   Livewire took the cup this year, but an American came in second, pretty good showing for us. Jaywalker, the winner from last year, didn't do as good as I'd expected him to, and a couple of the others kinda ran out of ideas after the prelims, at least it looked that way to me. If nothing else, you gotta be amazed at these guys' athleticism. I mean it's gotta take some serious nuts to even try this stuff, let alone do it enough to be as good as they are.

If anyone else caught it, let me know what you thought? If you've never heard of Freerunning or Parkour, then shame on you.

  This was an annual competition, so it was a one shot deal, but I would imagine there will be more, just don't know if G4 will air any others. They might show an encore deal for those that missed it though. I don't know of any network that airs anything consistently. I've seen a couple things on MTV, but they were few and far between. Your best bet is checking out YouTube, they've got thousands of different videos, that's really the main medium for the sport at the moment. I can tell you that it's growing though, so expect more tv airtime in the future.

 If you check on YouTube, look for Tempest free-running videos, that's the crew with Jaywalker, last years winner, and also Showtime, who came in second this year, plus a number of others whose names i just can't think of right now.
