So who here listens to such music? Show tunes count, as long as it classical show tunes, such as Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack, and what not.. or what the hell all show tunes count, broadway show tunes that is.

also.. who's listened to the phantom of the opera? doesn't the music in that sound like it should be in the fight scenes and dramatic cut scenes od the Final Fantasy Series?
speaking of the final fantasy series, anyone know if they're going to come out with another one beside this online crap that you have to subscribe to?

the FF8 sound track is quite nice, a good 4 disk set.
I listen to opera and classical. Every now and again while I am on SD I will tune in to jazz or classical streams online.

Final Fantasy XII made a big spash at E3 if I'm not mistaken. �Looks pretty decent graphics-wise, and I'm sure the story will be pretty cool. �Usually is. �Except for maybe X-2.. �eh.

I'm more of a clasical or show tunes type of guy then opera. Nothing against it, It just doesn't do it for me.

Oh oh oh oh! Pick me! Pick me! Phantom of the Opera is.. the best. I listen to it all the time : ) Oh, and I've sang quite a few songs from Cats in a concert. Ya gotta love it.
Has anyone here heard of Luna Sea? It's a Japanese punk band.. so.. a little off topic, but hey.

Classical is good. Holst–great guy--listen to his
Planets, especially Mars. Mozart's
Requiem Mass in D Minor. Great song to put on when your char faces the final curtain. Wagner. Great music for the common psychopath. Certain Fuhrers liked it.
Personally, I tend to listen to downtempo lounge while on SD. Course, it's usually late at night, and music from people like Amon Tobin add a weird, gritty undertone to the gameplay. Check out his song El Wraith off of the Bricolage album. Great ambience.
Triphop is good too. Tricky and The Sneaker Pimps are personal favorites.
Just my two cents.

I have shitloads of classical and opera in my CD library, from Allegri to Orff to fuckin' Tchaikovsky. Used to listen to it quite a bit, then I discovered power metal.
Now its all Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Edguy and so forth for me.
And, incidentally, the Final Fantasy series went down the pipes after 6. All the main characters since are sissies. Sissies with mysterious, sissy pasts. And stupid hair.
