The Matrix... as seen in the real world

An interesting new project is being worked on at Adobe.  The product is called Atmosphere, and it allows one to create 3d/vr-based websites, aptly called worlds.  Check it out:

http://www.adobe.com/products/atmosphere/main.html#
NOTE: This only works for IE on windows and OS X :(

Whats so new here? Its VRML with chat.

*yawns*

I hope our matrix is better than that.

Well.  Atmosphere is actually a world building program.  Not the protocol itself.
Hate to break this to you, but Atmosphere is hardly new….it was out, what, last year?
Grim?

Jeeze, man have you guys been keeping him in a closet? I've not seen him since…well hell like last December I think.

Tash-gal, correct term is "out of the loop." I kinda dropped off the map both online and IRL due to a whole slew of things, and now I have to play catch-up.

But here I am, sort of…

Happy gaming, and brightest blessings.

By the way, folks. Sneaking a MOO connection using the java client at a public library is a big "no-no," according to the librarians. Hence the reason the Garland, Texas, public library system no longer allows the use of java on their machines.
