Since my first character got "reaped" and I didn't even get very far….

I was unaware we had these "animal Splicers". I would enjoy playing that sort of character actually... I wasn't aware there was a parallel to Cyberpunk 2020's Exotics and all that here.

Can someone explain to me how I can play a Splicer character? Like can my character be one when I make it or does it have to get the gene modification thing afterwards or how would that work?

It's something that you have to purchase IC. Without giving away too much info, you'll have an easier time becoming one if you are a corporate citizen.
