No, you don't have the power to vote for anyone. There is no mayor, there are no lawyers or legal representatives, there are no political parties, there -is- the WJF. Actually, technically it's the WHJ that deals with all that shit, the WJF being their 'justice force'.
It's really what you people aren't getting and why Lucifer appears not to have a clue. You weren't shafted by a corrupt Judge, you have no claim against the WJF, no-one in any place of power really cares. You're a nobody. You're vote doesn't matter, your politically influence is non-existent, your misfortunes are but a tiny fleck of dust on the trophy of Withmore leadership.
Now, I've lost count of how many times I've typed this, so read it -very- VERY carefully. Judges are -the- law. They are judge, jury and executioner. You have no right to legal representation, you have no right to appeal. If you break the law and are caught, or even if you didn't break the law but are somehow faced with a Judge who thinks or decides you did, you will be judged on the spot and sentenced.
I know, you are thinking this is open to abuse, it is, but ICly Judges are a select force of people who are chosen to uphold the law, they are checked and their ability to do their job is constantly monitored. Severly corrupt Judges may eventually fall, and the punishment for a rogue Judge is not something they want to think about...
What you have to get through your head is that when you face a Judge you are -NOT- facing a cop. This isn't Joe Schmo Beatcop, this is -the- LAW, empowered with the full authority in all fields to carry out their duty as necessary. Now figure, you'd be a damned fool to continually verbally abuse and ridicule a New York street cop. He'd -easily- find a way to fuck you over and -EASILY- get away with it. So trust me, ridiculing a Judge is like signing your death warrant. Yes, WJF Enforcers are powerful and can only be used by Judges. You think this is unfair? Cry me a bucketful. Do you complain to the president of the USA that it's unfair how cops get to carry big guns, drive powerful cars, use handcuffs and beat you down when necessary coz it's 'unfair'? 'Scuse me while I laugh my ass off.
Get off your sad pathetic power trip, check your ego, put your wee lil baby boo-boo's to bed and play the fucking game. Seek revenge, crawl away with your tail between your legs, start again, fight to get everything you've lost back, do -something-. Do ANYTHING. Just quit crying about how you were 'fucked over' and spouting pseudo-OOC sobs and bitches over the SIC network.
You worked to build up alot, then you got too cocky with it, so you got a kick in the balls. But you've still got a shit load more than many people, so -DEAL- with it.
Trust me on one thing, no admin does anything of severe consequence without consulting first with several other admin. We don't do things out of personal dislike, OOC hatred or because we feel like abusing someone. We do them as IC responses to IC actions in an IC world and we like nothing more than to see it spawn quality RP. When you respond by bitching out the admin involved, throwing OOC accusations and generally being a complete cock about it you're doing yourself -NO- favors. Every bitch and whine pushes the level of admin (and no doubt player) respect for you down the scale, then, when you've successfully managed to piss off every admin on the MOO, will you find out what it is like to have OOC effect your IC...
And finally, yes, this is in many ways rather specific in who it's about, but truely it is meant as a general post for -all- to take heed of. There's no malice intended in this post and I only hope that it will serve as a useful post to many players as much as I'm hoping it will prove useful to the person it makes an example of.
Ahh... and no doubt there will be some readers who knew me on EM who're thinking I'm one fucked up hypocritical bastard. Well, yep, going by that post you're perfectly entitled to say that, I'm not perfect, I'm far from always right, but I am human (allegedly). -Any- player who slips from the creative RP path into the bitter, seething netherworld of OOC distain is -more- than welcome to mend their ways and return to the fold in my book, I won't bear grudges or malice.
