Hope this is the right board for this discussion, if not, I am very sorry!

I have begun writing my first character's history and unfortunately it's becoming a little bit prosey a la "Creative Writing Excercise".

To kind of rein myself in and set a fun constraint, I was wondering if it's OK if I write my history from the context of a psych eval/intake physical style situation. Something that may have happened during or just prior to being allowed into the mix.

I would still include OOC elements, such as names of characters and what not, but put them in [[double square brackets]].

Before I embark on this style, I just wanted to check if this would be a clear no go.

There's no standard to writing a history. As long as it has what's required in 'help history' you can write it in whatever form you'd like.

I sometimes write it a bit like a form that was filled out by the person entering the city. I figure as long as the important bits are obvious and covered, they don't mind creative freedom.
