I am new to the world of moos but I do know how to telnet, I have been trying to get in at sindome.gigsville.org port 5555 but the connection is timing out, I was able to get in and register before lunch yesterday but havent been able to get in since, any advice would be great.

The server we're hosted on appears to have gone AWOL and we're waiting on info as to why so we can do something about it. As soon as we find out what's going on we'll be posting information and hopefully the server and game will be back ASAP.
Current theory is that our mule powered generator has failed, cutting power to the mud hut where our server is located at a secret location in Africa. A technician/mule-herder is enroute as we speak, riding the required spare part…

Thanks for the fast reply, and sorry for the double post. I am just glad it wasnt on my end, as I telnet into a friends' Linux box first so I can have a unrestricted telnet in. By the way, adonkey can generate power much much faster than a mule so give that a thought next time. :-)

No worries on the double post, I'll delete the spare one. The error you get when posting is because the web forums try to contact the game when-ever a post is made to send a notification. Since the MOO isn't there, the forums crap out but the post is still made. Personally I click 'submit' on the post, wait maybe 10 secs then click the back button and browse on from there. Just be wary of doing that after writing a -long- post coz sometimes it doesn't go through…

Ok, As most of you know i am for the most part computer illiterate. i connect to sindome via pueblo and just want to know if the connection info has changed for me. im still trying to use sindome.gigsville.org host 5555
but it doesnt seem to work.
