Help Files

I haven't found a Help file on the Stat and Skill System that helps you with allocation of points to your Stats that helps your Skills.
If there's one please someone contact me with the web page or command.

Thanks

The best your going to find is typing 'help stats' in game.

Beyond that, we haven't publicly documented the stat/skill system for a reason. This is a role-playing and the stats/skills are just a means to an end. We don't want people to running the numbers and figuring out the BEST character to make. Hell, games that get deconstructed aren't fun after you know everything about them. Look at Evercrack. Once you know that the best class to be is the Druid, it's not as much fun. Once you know the exact formula to make something at the blacksmith stove, its not as much fun. Once you know who to camp and how long to camp, it's not as much fun. Kick back and enjoy the game for what it is.

But, beyond that, here is what 'help stats' will show you
(Note: it's out of date)

Sindome Stat System

Statistical information about each player is divided into 5 distinct areas. Stats, Substats, Skills, Languages, and Traits.

Stats are the 7 general categories that are common to most RPGs, they are defined below:

*Strength (STR) is the relative measure of a persons physical strength.
*Perception (PCP) is the relative measure of a persons general awareness.
*Endurance (END) is the general level of how fit a person is.
*Agility (AGL) encompasses a persons general speed as well as his motion control.
*Intellegence (INT) includes all a persons understanding.
*Charisma (CHR) includes a persons general appearance and like-ability.

Substats are the 11 more focused stats used for evaluating purposes, each one is a subset of 1 of the 7 general stats.

*Muscle (MUS) defines the amount a person can lift, pry, bend, etc.
*Awareness (AWR) is a measure of a persons ability to notice things.
*Outlook (OUT) is a measure of how a person sees the world.
*Stamina (STM) measures how long a person can stick it out in a exhaustive activity.
*Toughness (TGH) measures how much a person can take before wearing out from physical stress.
*Coordination (CRD) measures how well a person can aim a gun or walk on a thin rope.
*Quickness (QCK) is number score of a persons speed in all things.
*Technology (TCH) rates how well a person understands technical things.
*Knowledge (KNW) is any knowledge that's not technical in nature.
*Appearance (APR) is a look, be it low like a street urchin or high like a CEO of a corp.
*Charm (CHM) defines how a character gets along with others.

Currently, 24 Skills define even closer how a character performs in specific situations or actions.

Languages enable persons to talk without having to worry about being overheard, currently we have 7

*English is standard english, everyone (just about) has it.
*EuroTrash is a hodgepodge of the languages found throughout Europe in the early 21st century.
*DomeSpeak is the street language common only to the dome.
*Baltic is a cyrillic based language with turkish and arabic influences.
*Sinarcian is the language from Sinarcia, the country that formed in Antartica, few speak this distant tongue.
*Chinese is spoken by those that survived the holocaust in Asia.
*African is spoken by the survivors of the holocaust from Africa.

Traits are optional and/or penaltive things that affect a person.

What about help levels files?
Where might they be?
Just so we can get a idea where we are at with the skills and stuff.

I know that stats and skills a ooc command but it proves quite useful.

See the above post ;)
That only shows the files for skills. Not the actual levels.

Though the levels of the skills/stats is very useful.

If you could help list the levels would be nice *winks*

Thank you.

As in… slow, unbalanced, lively?
That won't ever be posted.
It's one step away from knowing the number.

If you figure it out on yer own that's one thing, but it's not gonna be listed. sorry.

like I said, read the above post.
