NLM Acess Terms

Right, I've read about them in help, used the help nlm, watched other people sue them, asked the admins, but they don't seem to work for me.
I press =o - then i click the sindome link - i enter my username and password - and no links apear on the right hand side, nothing happens. Ahhh.
Aslo using examine nlm term, i get a set of commands to read posts etc, enterign the corresponding leters and pressign return just gives a message saying the system doesn't know what I'm doing. I also thought I was meant to access them through my browser, so it seems liek i don't want those commands anyway.
Hmm I ramble, please help, Bruce is a grumpy fool and I want a job :)
If you can just post all the info you have on these tricky things, or if someone can even answer my problem, I'll be a happy bunny in fluffy bunny land, yes Finn it is fluffy bunny land. :)

uh... and make sure you're in the same room IC as a QuickTerm or holding one in your hand before you try and log on in the website... i know it seems obviouse.. but still.

Man, I added another post to this topic and it hasn't come up, oh well I'll just ask what is the Media Feed link for on this page - has that got soemthing to do with the nlm terms, and please if you want to help state the exact proccesss you undergo in detail to gain access to the nlm boards, I AM in a roon with an nlm term I DO type "=o" and press return, I DO click on the sindome hyperlink, and I DO logon. When the page refreshes I am told there shoudl be a new button or link on the right hand side of the page where blackness normally is. But nothing there, PLEASE describe it too me, oh and when I log in the top of the login box that did say "Sindome Player" no reads "Heya Wanseya"My charcters name is Wanseya but whats is Heya - is that like a weird version (to me at least) of Hiya, as in Hi; Hello, Hmmm. Please Help.

Also If anybody want to help with my Beckoming a Judge (in the game lol) Then feel free to comment, this is a tangent but i did post the topic. I have heard that the admin will happily take control of the appropriate NPC and I role play to get the job, But I don't know much else on this, and have plenty of UE to spend, also I think i've pissed soem, if not all the admins of a bit. Sorry, I really don't try to, then I just embrace it, hence my new motto. K I ramble, al you nice people please help with the aformentioned and give any extra info if you like. Hmmm information to remeber and store, hmmm, Lunch; yes bye :) ^_^

Okay Dom Chears. All I want is soemone to describe in detail how to use an NLM Term from the frist step to the point where one can just use it. Please someone just read what I wrote, I tried to make it clear. I don't know if you feel like you don't want to help me admins, but I won't be an anoying prick anymore, or try not to :), I just need help with this, And I'm sure that I am meant to ask you to control an NPC then I walk up to WJF hall/tower and have an interview with you controling the head judge guy. How else do I get an IC job, IC'ly if there's no oen to RP with hmm ICIC'lyRP and now I plea, :) hehe (okay too much repetative vowel rhyming, although with vowels its not rhyming lol)

There's no need to push =o to use the terms. Just be in the same room as one, or hold your quickterm, then get on the website and log on. IF the links on the right hand side don't appear (but you're logged on - i.e. you don't see the two fields for enterning username and password), that just means your browser hasn't properly refreshed the page. So keep Shitf down and click Refresh or Reload, depending on your browser.
If it STILL doesn't load the links on the side, then just click any link in the navigation bar at the top (such as Pay Data, Media Feed, or whatnot), that should force it to refresh properly.

If it STILL doesn't work, go to some other page, delete your history and your temporary internet files, and then go back to the SD site.

If it STILL doesn't work, do the Funky Chicken.

And Wanseya… please, no IC on these boards.

To be fair to this Wan person I have had problems logging into the website. I put my  character's name in the first one and tab down to the second and type in my password and for some reason lately I've been having problems getting it recognise that I've done anything at all.

I was told I was getting password errors, but since my password is so simple my 15 month old could type it if I showed it to her a few times I think it might be just connection issues.

Then when I have managed to be connected to the website I've gotten a few connection errors from it saying that I wasn't logged in or holding a quickterm/standing near one when I was. Okay, yeah yesterday those errors were because I'd posed picking it up but didn't actually do it. But the day before they weren't.

As for step by step here it is in sllllloooooow motion:

Step 1. Log into game - you might think its simple and obvious, but hey you bet someone's tried it.

Step 2. Find a working NLM Streeterm or have your character be holding a NLM Quickterm. This means in their hands.

Step 3. Open your internet browser.

Step 4. Go to http://www.sindome.org

Step 5. Log onto website on main page. Enter your character's name and where it says password your game password.

Step 6. When you login a series of links will appear after the page connects. Click on the link for Quickterm.

Step 7. If you've never used the NLM site before create an account by registering.

Now if you can't figure it out after that I'm sorry, I can't help you.
