I think the @naked locations and the @coverage locations should match up. I know you can keep clothing from covering up your eyes, but then your whole 'head' description shows up when only the eyes should. I know that's a lot more @nakeds to describe…but that way if someone's whearing a ski mask, you can just see mouth and eye descs instead of hair descs etc...
So do you set @coverage for the entire arm or no arms at all? I go for no arms at all because since there is only @nakeds for the arms and not the upper or forearms most people have generic arm messages.
As for things that cover the eyes, I generally either don't make them or set the @coverage to be the eyes. Very, very rarely do I set the @coverage for the entire head. Baseball caps are set for the ears that way the face is visible.
Anyway, that's my bob and two shillings or whatever.
Tash: I'm not looking for upper right arm, lower right arm etc...in those instances I'd say it'd cover the shoulder but not the arm...simple. I just think that the face is very important in recognizing people. If they go through with the title change there'd be a whole lot of use for the covering of eyes, or revealing of eyes. When you wear sunglasses, you still see their eyes because the eye desc is on the @naked head. Just a few reasons...
Lotus: I'm sorry but I hate that response to Ideas. If the coders are bothered by additional ideas and it frustrates them because they don't feel like their work will ever be completed then they shouldn't read this thread as often. But this is where ideas come. When someone has an idea we encourage them to post it so that the idea can be revisited at a later time. As a former admin I would rather have people post the ideas than to xhelp. THis place thrives off of ideas and if we shut out the ideas of the players than we lose people. The admin can take care fo themselves.
I also hate when admin respond with 'It's been talked about before so you shoudln't bother'. While I do think players should read all of the threads and try and find topics covered before they add, that's not always possible...and admin should do nothing but encourage discussion. But it is ok to tell people that some people have discussed the topic before and point them to those topic threads.
