A 'lose x' command for escorting players
So that escorting players aren't glued to you all the time.

Since escorting is a trusted action, I think that the person who's being escorted should be able to stop the person who is escorting them.

Proposing a 'lose x' command to make people who are escorting you stop escorting. Stops people from just getting stuck to you weirdly and helps to make escorting AFK players not follow you halfway across the dome.

Also wanted to suggest that maybe this potential Lose command could be applicable to follow as well to address the same problem!

follow is not always used consensually, if you want to lose someone following you, there are other IC ways to do it.
Follow is less movement destructive than escort, there is also ways to lose a follow but no IC way to stop an escort.
Yeah, it's particularly pernicious when escort bugs pop up or when someone goes idle while they are escorting you. There are circumstances where you can end up trapped.
Only trusted players can escort you. If you untrust them while they are escorting would that not prevent them from continuing to escort you?
It does not, Spark, though it can create crazy bugged movement!
@Spark: untrusting does not work, they will continue to escort you.
When moving, close a door on yourself just after they move out.

I think you can do "stop moving" to the same effect.

Hiding might work too, maybe?

@ynk Yeah, that 'loses' them but they are still mechanically trying to escort you, which can lead to weird bugs sometimes.
Oh yikes. I didn't know that! Thanks.
It's very irritating to have some baka who went afk glued to you, this would be a very nice addition
'stop escorts' is now a thing.
