and in my bat utility belt

@idea from Allandra

I was just thinking it would be nice if we could have belts in game that could hold multiple items, say a spot for cuffs, flashlights, couple clips. You know the type that cops wear. They'd be pretty much holsters, I mean certain holsters won't take certain guns, so would it be that hard to key em to fit only 1 cuff two clips and a flash light? I don't know, I don't like being able to just pull this stuff outta nowhere.

There was a topic about this awhile ago but Johnny deleted it since it was turning into a add for other MOOs.  But, once I get around to working on it, I'm gonna work on an inventory system that just uses pockets and holsters and such and share it with Sindome.
Is it really that much trouble, I could see why pockets would be an issue, you have to take the size shape wieght of the object into play, but since you can only put a specific item in a specific spot, it would just be four holsters pretty much.  Am I wrong in thinking this is a much less complicated thing?
I'm still new to this stuff, so I'm not quite sure, but I think it would be easier just to make it like you said for specific objects.
ooo and a spot for my tac-comp. almost forgot. Or just have the Tac-comp built into the armor, like in the arm
uo-oh Getting stoned, must stop thinking of dumb shit..

Hiron: I'm gonna work on an inventory system that just uses pockets and holsters and such and share it with Sindome.

Anyone who thinks this would be simple needs to realize that sindome has a huge amount of logic that already does what all you can do and any change involving the move to such a system (as we had discussions and designs of more than a year ago) would involve some pretty major changes to a lot of stuff and we didn't feel it was that critical to do.

And everything is simple when its a thought that doesn't have to take anything else in the world into consideration.

Also, building something and then offering it to us would be pointless, there'd be no way for us to use it without you understanding the way our existing system works and we are sufficiently different from basic lambda that a lot of assumptions would break in our environment.

Well, fine then.  I won't let Sindome have my inventory system.  Actually, I haven't quite worked out the details of how it is going to work, but it would probably be pretty hard to convert it to work Sindome's system.  I guess I'll just work on developing my own MOO and playing in Sindome.
