Having an option to gaudily display a balance on the naked messaging for SkinWatches makes sense to me, my feeling is a piece of clothing that did this would see most of its use as a quick and game-y way of getting some free extra paydata on anyone who got knocked out, grappled, or killed by force dressing them.

If the shirt option is preferred, maybe add a command at the bank that allows a character to 'enable remote balance access'. This way the gamey abuse described by 0x1mm would be limited to those who turned this on because they want to show off with their wearable.

If they wear such a shirt without access enabled at the bank it gives a message like 'UNKNOWN' or 'SCARED BITCH'. If access was enabled, the balance shows as intended.

I hadn't imagined it being a thing that would be force dressed in order to see how much chyen someone has. I don't know if I particularly care for that as a use case here. It could be some command on the shirt that the player needs to run that connects it to their bank or something.

The main purpose behind it is for corpies (and mixers) who want to flaunt their wealth in the most ridiculous way.

I think I might rather have slightly less in your face indicators of wealth that are equally if not more obnoxious. Can we get the WSB chip version of the black Amex? :P Some of the most attrociously obnoxious people slap those babies on the table and then don't bother to tip.

Liquid chy also isn't the same as overall wealth, but this may not be a problem because people irl can hide in crappy hotel rooms with millions stored under a mattress just the same then brag about having a ton of cash. It would be cool if the bank had some flauntable reward that accounted for job level and assets. I don't know how the WSB would account for this other than having someone fill out a form listing assets or something. Maybe that needs to be a separate idea entirely.

I don't see myself using the shirt or interacting with it much personally, but others may enjoy it.
