Dead Siccing
Avoid your enemies sleuthing.

I'd like get a general consensus about an idea.

Dead siccing: Use a recently dead corpse by plugging into their sic chip somehow. Maybe even make it a device the interfaces with them after they're ripped out.

Allow them to submit a number of sic messages through that chip(Depending on skill)

This allows for a number of things but these two I like the most and they basically boil down to the same thing.

Framing someone to make it actually look like they did it.

Making a pubsic post that's tied to that corpses Sic ID.

Even if this isn't viable it's still a cool idea that drives home the grittiness of cyberpunk.

Interesting idea. But it will need some retconning, since sics chips auto-terminate once the person inside it dies(Updated lore about it years ago). There is no longer any data after death, there seem to be a decision at the time that didn't want this kind of behaviour.
Alternatively, a new "sic chip update" could allow this to happen. But do we want this? Do we want to be paranoid of our own corpses?
We want all the paranoia
Dying is stressful enough without having to worry about your sic alias being stolen.
Yeah, no it's already too easy to get away with it for those veteran players who know how to play the game and I don't really want murder to be any easier.
Agreeing with BlackSoul. Very few if any people outside of the killers themselves knew my characters didn't perm by choice and people just don't put enough effort into sleuthing. Making it even easier to just have my SIC alias say, "I'm boothing." and no one looking into it is annoying.
