Leaving messages to people in hotel.

@idea from Valeria

It would be nice if you could leave messages to Old Man Thompson and then people could ask "Is there any messages for me?" The messages would be directed to right person using the cube numbers.

But, ICly, I don't think Thompson would give a fuck. He gets agitated if you ask him your code, right? I wouldn't think he'd be a messenger boy.
Plus, what's the point?

You could just send them an NLM mail.

You could just send them an NLM mail.

Sure, if you want NLM to read it, change it or delete it.

But I do!
I like this idea actually, but what if it weren't so much that Old Man Thompson told you the message, but rather that you received one.

If you pay a fee, say like ten creds you can leave a message for someone. But it has to be like their cube number. Like R-10 or something. And then the person who is staying in that cube, or checks into that cube, gets it when they enter the cube.

You walk in the door and an automated voice says, "You have a message. At 12:35 WCT <Blah> left you a message that says, "I'm coming after your punk ass, narc, just you wait and see." or something like that.

I can see lots of craziness like mixed up messages because you got the cube number wrong or the person didn't pay the rent and the wrong person gets it.

Though I like NLM too.
