When using messaging app, we can use contact names instead of numbers, which is great, but when trying to call, it refuses to work. Can we make it work? Can be separate verb if that's what it takes, just make my rolodex more useful please!

And when someone calls, match that number to contacts, would be lovely to show that name. I feel like this is a bug, not missing feature somehow hah

While on the surface this seems like a quality of life feature, it's my opinion that some QoL features can spark more chances for RP and this would be one of them. The more utility that features like contacts have, the more likely people are to buy and use the feature. The more people who use the feature, the more likely it is that a stolen Progia will lead to some interesting RP.

Yeah, I now see why almost no one bothers with contacts, as those basics are just not in, but the added risk is.

I figured Caller ID and calling was part of the selling point of having the contacts app. Was very disappointed when I found it is not. And I wasn't even expecting it to be able to use the contact's name in the call command but expected it to be in the menu so you used contacts, selected to call contact and then selected the number from the list similar to the way the delete list works.

I mean, it's cheaper, a lot cheaper, and potentially safer to just carry an e-note around, unless you are also getting messaging, I guess.

Wanted to bump this, as I so loved the idea of contacts app, with being able to dial with it, and maybe even see caller-id but… It sadly is such let down. Please help us have reasons to use it, instead of just carrying an e-note.

I'd rather see a return to the 7,9,11 system and make some of these apps native to better models.
