Remove Art from the markets
Where it shall probably stay forever

This may be an unpopular idea or take, but I suggest that Art be taken out of the markets. It just feels like really cool pieces that people make get sent to the markets to die when they could just be selling them in private sales for reasonable prices.
Or simply make it much cheaper and reasonable at Mix price. like.. 5k to 10k.
Yea, Beepboop, maybe an adjustment on the prices even! Not to undervalue someones work but some of the prices are unrealistic, IMO.
The Mix is full of starving, jobless people so it'd make sense that they'd sell things at much cheaper price instead of.. y'know.. 100k to 200k art pieces, it should extend to clothes too, including progcloth.

This would allow people to grab art pieces or super expensive clothes up, and reuse them.
Art pieces end up in the market either from not being installed in an apartment evicting or in more cases I imagine people removing other people's artwork to sell in the market. It's a very frustrating situation where artists aren't meant to create art just to sell in the market, but others can buy artwork for a cheap IC price, or uninstall it from places, and immediately sell it in the markets.

I've previously suggested allowing artists to set their own inspect trade value on artwork that cannot go over the coded value roll of it https://sindome.org/bgbb/game-discussion/ideas/allow-artists-to-lower-work-value.-3298/

Which I think would solve a lot of these problems.

If the cap to selling something at the market is a low set amount plus an item then it is kind of weird that the art piece is then turned around and listed at 25x that limit.

I don't think that anyone is going to buy them for that, where as if it were set at a reasonable rate, players might buy that art again and display it in their properties.
