I have looked around at the three main Apartments topside. And they all only have one bedroom. Most apartments conform to the three room design (living room, bedroom, closet) Some are a little bigger, adding a balcony, or kitchen.
But what about a second bedroom? There are plenty of apartments in the city, many of them not rented. Why not add a second bedroom to some of them, and increase the rent a bit? You don't need to add another closet, especially in the ones with a central closet, but a second smaller bedroom would be great for situations where you have a roomate, or adopt a child IC, or the many other reasons to want a second room. Like say, as an office for a busy corporate person that works from home, and that sort of thing.

I like this idea.
I've come across roommates that are making due, but this, I'd go for this. Plus, it would also allow separate personal / work lives a bit more.
It would allow Jane to have her own room and bring in her own friends or flings, and John to have his own room and bring his co-workers, friends, flings, etc. and not be concerned (more or less).
I don't know if bedroom doors can lock but would the two bedrooms be able to be done?

Some of us don't have the RL money to spare panda.
And for the most part, I like earning everything IG

The good news is, you CAN earn things like this entirely ICly.
Different ways. Exploring is one.
Earning the means or other kind of RP-based justification for an IC remodel is another.
This isn't a pay-to-win game. A nice house is a nice perk for donating, but the rewards aren't out of reach for people who RP their way into them.

Excellent. I thought maybe I could remodel something at one point with the proper amount of chy. It made sense.
Thank you Vetra.

I actually had a face to face with Sable last night, and I brought this up. And this is what I was told.
Staff have a lot on there plate, so this wont be added any time soon. THAT being said. @redec works in a closet as well, and you can turn a closet into a second bedroom, then buy wardrobes and such ICly to put your stuff in.
It requires staff aproval, of course, but it is an option.

In the future shit is small and cramped.
That being said, I see no problems on having 2 bedroom apartments on higher levels.
But right now we have not enough GM cycles to deliver this in a timely manner.
So: Soon [tm]
