Unchained AI
A more cyberpunk Withmore

Just an idea. Take PC traits/input to build the input data for a GPT of that character. Put that character into game as an AI.

Possible functions

- adds searchable data / memories to game for lore / enrichment

- adds interactable grid / matrix environment for deckers or theMind holograms

- character sunsetting

Mechanics that could unlock this

- have enough cyberware for long enough (but maybe not if you get PDS)

- have certain cyberware or other items

- do something in character / through a location or faction

- afterthoughts memorial

- go light

Problems to hash out

- not sure who would pay for the GPT-related fees and upkeep of multiples

- would somebody have a legal creative claim on the GPT model of their character

- conscious and subconscious biases might mean that the character file the GPT is based off of would need to be screened for content before being introduced IC

If there is concern that it might break the game, maybe just do it as a RampageMOO for starters. Rampage is often good for PCs to try out combat or other risky functions.

Related note…have we done a Rampage geared towards getting people to try securetech/electrotech/rigging/decking/cracking skills?

The staff already have access to GPT utilities but usage is very limited because language models are insane and will eventually do or say something really dumb.
Dare I say….unhinged?
Imagine if the data it had to go off of was mostly just ERP logs

horrifying prospect
