No. Because Grid 3 forum posts don't have topic ids, so you wouldn't be able to ignore those if we did it by topic id.

in the command list for 'g forums' it seems to show as 'forums update' rather than 'forums signature update'

Please submit a new bug. Maybe I'm not understanding it, because I tested and it was working fine for me after making a change. Include more details.
