I think Bruce should just say something like, "This is your last delivery for the day instead of yelling at you to stop harassing him.

A candle lit dinner of finely prepared game hen cooked in an orange-ginger glaze with freshly mashed garlic potatoes, a mixed greens salad with a home made balsamic vinegarette, asparagus, lightly steamed in a soft cream sauce. And a mushroom medly of wild pine, shitake, and chantrells stuffed into the game hen. Served with a light, almost fruity, wine, perhaps an Okanagan, perhaps a good Austrailian. Finished with a lovely crem-bruliay.
On the table a centre peice of arranged flowers, cut orchids and irises mixed with a few lillies.
Table set in a manner so that you are sitting more beside your partner, rather than across from them. Makes it a bit more intimate a situation.

Just some basic word-association windows-rips:
Macintosh '89 = Windows '98
Wanna double your drive space? Delete Windows!
The Macintosh Classic: Quite possibly the most stable computer of any invented since 1985.
The Mac Color Classic: A prettier version of a perfect computer.
If ever in doubt, remember: A mac classic could run 4 MOOs this size, and have cycles to spare, given enough memory.
Sorry, just had to rant.

My dick could run 4 MOOs given enough RAM.
Given that pre-OSX Macs would let shit corrupt ANY RAM, the MOO wouldn't last very long period. Not to mention dealing with that fucking GUI. Theres no headless on those Macs either. No better than windows for being a server.

My cock is better as a server than windows. Macs are far superior, in every sense except compatibility for software. IF you could compile into a GUI-efficient version, LambdaMOO, Mac goes MOO, or MacMOOSE, you shouldn't have problems with any RAM going corrupt. I use OSX though, so don't ask me to prove it. I'm working on compiling LambdaMOO for OS 9.x though, so you should wait with baited breath for that one… fuckin 'mac developer tools'.

Well, that's a good question. But I need SOMETHING to bitch about at work, right? Whatever.
I still think that a move to a simpler machine would be slower, but more efficient given the amount of my dual 1Ghz that I actually use. Not to mention, I have to run the MOO on this machine, in background mode because I need to use the internet and telnet client too. I could just dedicate a mac classic to running the MOO only.
BTW: Anyone know what Aikao's problem is?

Yeah, someone had a discussion with him about some actions he did that weren't very IC in the name of 'testing'. But like we tell everyone when/if they do the same thing,
stay IC.
Funny thing is, hes not actually in any trouble. They talked and he was released, then he decided to quit. Fruit loop.
