I've been playing that sorry excuse for a game for 3 years about now. I believe I went thru about 198 characters in that time. All having spent about 3 hours each in CG, crafting them to my specifications. And why? Because it was the only one available to me that held my interest. I'd say about 19 months ago a new MOO comes out.. SINDOME. The second it reaches the tyrannical Cybersphere? BLAM, Sindome sucks! <Insert long line of bitching and flaming without evidence>. So I never really gave it any thought to try it.. I finally decided about 4 months ago to give it a try.. My character in CS dies.. so I have to go rework that.. I forget about sindome...
Then it happens, The last straw that I could take from those imbeciles they call Admin. They @toad this guy for doing nothing more than his fair share of roleplaying. What was the main grievance? He was taking down oldbies, people who have sat on their asses and have done nothing with their character in the past 2 years besides kill newbies and hoard items. If I was an admin, I'd applaud this person for giving some realism to the game. Power isn't stagnant, it circulates, it's how the world keeps moving. Take our capatalist country for instance, without new companies being created and influencing the market... where in the hell would we be today?
So anyway, back to the point. I quit CS for good. So, I'm out browsing and I remember about SINDOME.. I remember getting chewed out a bit for being a CS'er last time but I think CS's influence has gone down.. I come back and try again at Sindome. I come in, forgetting about my character and.. BLAM.. my e-mail is already in use... So, Johnny helps me out with my e-mail situation and frees it up. I ask for a registration and wait for my mail to arrive.. 2 hours later.. no e-mail (which is very odd seeing as my mail server is instantaneous). I come back, and he delivers the code to me personally. I thank him for it, confirm and go to sleep thinking that it will be in the box tomorrow.. I wake up.. Nothing... I'm a little peeved at the fact but log on to see if I can rectify the situation. It's Johnny again to the rescue, he sits down with me again and helps me get my account in working order.
Finally I get to try my hand at Sindome CG... it's pretty simular in form.. I get the ball rolling and voila, I have a character. I finally get to experience the game and finally realize the truth. Sindome is 100% better than cybersphere. (<- Disclaimer: CyberSphere was actually a government project to create a simulated Matrix against Sindome I think.. ). Their staff is competent, charasmatic, responsible, patient, and mature. Although the playerbase is significantly less there is an old adage to support such; "Quality over Quantity".
I would once again like to thank Johnny for all his help in clearing up my problems so that I might be able to actually play this game. And I'd also like to thank Kevlar for the nice conversation. I appreciate knowing that the staff here hasn't been influenced by the dark not so far off future and been turned into cold heartless bastards that just don't give a damn like those -wonderful- admin over in ..*COUGH*CS*COUGH*.
