This may be old hat to some of you 'punks out there, but Production I.G. has produced a feature length movie set in the aftermath of Season Two of GITS:SAC, aptly titled Solid State Society. The story follows a greatly expanded Section 9 in the midst of a two-year absence by Major Kusanagi. For the purpose of clarification, let me state that this is not Innocence: Ghost In The Shell 2, but an expansion of the GITS:SAC and GITS:SAC 2nd Gig series. For all you movie pirates out there, there are already raws and subs available for perusal, but for the less criminally-inclined, Bandai has once again picked up the license and should be delivering a domestic DVD sometime by the end of 2006.
