How can you help Sindome?

On donating money, I already would jave, but PayPal requires a c-card for overseas payments, and I don't have one, so no luck there.

And I would donate if I had money…

I like the T-Shirts and stuff, I'm saving to buy the hat :)

And I didn't know that about the Amazon links…

(Not to say that those methods would relate to the users of the game. Just the theme.)

(I, unlike Astro don't quit and come back and quit, etc. I just happened to be unable to really do jack shit involving my computer lately. I still love Sindome. I still miss Damon. I still miss our petty battles. *sniff* So prepare to be run through, sucka.)

When I was in grade school there was this big Indian guy, I think his name was Jay, but he could barely speak, let alone know his name. Anyhow, He was freakin huge. Now, I'm a big fellow, and I was in grade school too, but this guy….hoy...a mountain of a kid. And scary. One of those silent types. Anyhow, he kept comeing around and bothering me. Over and over. For a long time.

I'm a really tollerant person, but one day after school, when no body was around, he came at me. Slow, steady. Real freaky like. This guy tossed out way bad juju at me. Kept following me about the school yard. Getting into my personal space, never talking.

Scared the fuck out of me.

So I picked up a surveyors stake and clocked him. Took 3 hits before he got the picture. Amazing how long it takes things to register with people at times.

Through my almighty underground network of spies and informers I have learned that our friend Chant, who "loves this game" has applied to other M*'s, stating in his applications how he used to play Sindome (and CS) although they are both shit compared to the M* he was applying on. I also pull a quote -directly- from his 'chat' on elseM*.

You know how much I love this game…

Oh, Chant, I bet you say that to /all/ the M* wizzen, you smooth talker, you!

Now -THAT'S- entertainment.

Most of the banners pay something between one cent to 5 cents a click, but the products work on a percentage of their value. Most of the companys add all the values and keep them until you have reached a minimum payment that varies throught all of them.

I wouldn't mind clicking on banners and receiving e-mails from the advertisers. And making a donation from time to time wouldnt hurt my pocket that mutch too.

We absolutely do appreaciate donations, but in this world where EVERYTHING is corperate sponsored, isn't it nice to deal with an orginazation that takes it's priorities and direction from an amazingly dedicated staff member with no outside interests other than his own education and entertainment, not lining his pocketbook?

Besides, our user base is so 'refined'  that we couldn't get enough 'unique' clicks to accualy ammount to anything more than a couple cents a month, and the effort required to get an affiliate program like that would require more effort than the gain.

Really we'de probablly be alot more happy if you just Pay-paled 'Sindome' 20 bucks when it was convient for you to do so, and that would probablly be a meal for Johnny and I for a late night coding session (probablly the largest reoccuring expense), or the DSL/utilities bill.

Understand that we are not an offical non-profit orginization, although we absolute would qualify to be one, so we can't accually acknoladge it as an offical tax deductable donation… rather it would be a gift.

And if you want to make donation to us, and it needs to be tax deductible, make it to the Free Software Foundataion (http://www.gnu.org/) or the Electronic Frontier Foundation (http://eff.org/) in our name, for they may save our ass one day if (God forbid) we get sued for inadvertently breaking some new law designed to help the rich get richer like the DMCA. They've protected countless indiviguals exactly like ourselves who don't have the means to protect themselves, and are a bonafide non-profit orgininzation. God bless em.
