How not to critique someone's RP

Yeah.
This has been said before and now it's my turn.
Thats not RP.
Thats being what seems very twinkish to me.
And I know what twinks are.
I've been one myself and still am sometime.

I have never complained about a character of mine dying but i am now. You dont even RP. You step out of the shadows and you attack. All of that is coded comands. You bitch cuase no one will RP with you but then when you see someone out from your nice shadow home you step out and kill them.

I dont care who does or who doesn't agree with me but that is now my view of you. And I've actually had more chances to RP with you than some maybe even you know of. Thats a piss poor way to play. If you want to go around killing people at least give them a chance to RP before they die.

Now, on its own, this post is nothing more than anger. Misdirected anger too. The character who jumped out the shadows and attacked had very good reason for doing so. The character who was attacked was an advertising member of a rival group that -had it coming-.

Unfortunately, because the player posted to the 'Ideas' forum inappropriately and defamed another player, I removed the post and banned the naughty player from the BgBB.

I don't mind you guys bitching at each other over bad RP or legit shit, but you -really- need to cool down and think about why the other party killed you. In this case, it was COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED.

The streets are dangerous, in this case, someone forgot that.

People seem -really- confused here. How is jumping out of the shadows to assassinate your foe not RPing? Like, come on, what do you want? Fourty minutes of fakin banter and posturing over SIC followed by standing in the drome mouthing each other off for an hour followed by a dual that lasts about 30 seconds untill you get shot in the face?

It's fun sometimes, and it is warrented sometimes to play it out that way, but sometimes it is also warrented to pop out of no where and just do the enemy quick and clean then beat feet before the judges or his buddies come along.

Shouting and yelling in combat is good too, travels around, lets people know shit happened. On SIC or just yowling on the street. Maybe someone will even care.
