for those that are interested… the photo department at my school has officialy declared extended hours... this means i shall be living at school from roughly the hours of 8am to midnight. sundays are excluded for reasons of sanity i suppose... i love the end of the semester...

oooo printmaking! i wish i chould do a double major… *sigh*i wish i had an extra 7 days a week to -do- a double major.... ok.. i wish i had the extra MONEY to take extra classes... damnit. i feel like i'm going to be a perma student.

a while back i wanted to take a printmaking course in foundation year here, as one of my two electives. it was my 2nd choice (after photo of course) it made sense to take it along with photo. plus it interests me. ... but nooo. they stuffed me in jewlery. which -was- fun... i mean, i got a rather nifty chain out of it, and a couple of rings, a metal stand and some burns and cuts and a really cool fireball near the end...

it's sad, the prof passed me -because- i was going into photo and i swore never to touch a torch ever again... ;)

tsk... so i lied about the torch. :-D

damnit. now you're making me wish i'd stopped in the middle of the whole thing and grabbed a camera and took a picture. :P

k… how about this, i'll sneak into one of the jewlery studios at around 3am so no ones around, turn the gas on, set up my camera stuff and make the fire go woosh... knowing my luck.. the friggin room would explode.. though that's mighty hard to do.

i wonder if blowing a classroom up for artistic reasons is reasonable grounds for suspension?

Nah, they shouldn't be able to do anything to ya as long as it's for artistic reasons.  They should be happy that you choose to use their school for your project.  :)  Oh and by the way, I would like a copy of that explosion too.
